On Saturday, Elon Musk, Tesla, and SpaceX CEO posted a Tweet seen as transphobic by a lot of people.
“Pronouns suck,” he wrote.
People who saw his tweet are quick to call out the tech billionaire.
However, one of those who called him out is his partner and mother of his child, Canadian musician Grimes.
In a now deleted tweet, Grimes reprimanded Musk on his post.
“I love you but please turn off ur (sic) phone or give me a dall (sic),” the musician wrote.
“I cannot support hate. Please stop this. I know this isn’t your heart,” she added.
The exchange between the two was noticed by a lot of Twitter users, putting Grimes’ name on Twitter’s trending list.
However, people also quickly noticed the disappearance of Grimes’s reply to her boyfriend, prompting some people to think that he has a hand on it.
A lot of Twitter users reacted to Musk’s tweet about pronouns.
One user, Frederick Joseph, a writer tweeted that he despises Musk.
“He is a wealthy comic book villain,” he wrote.
Other users, on the other hand, mock Musk for hating on pronouns while giving his child an unconventional name.
One user named Mutahar said, “didn’t you name your kid after an aircraft?”
This is not the first time that people called out Musk on his Tweets.
In 2018, the CEO posted a tweet claiming that he was able to secure funding to take Tesla private.
The post was followed by a fraud case from the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), said an Al Jazeera report.
The situation was settled with Musk and Tesla paying $20m.
During the lockdown, a tweet posted by Musk costed Tesla stocks to tank.
A few days ago, people called him out on his Tweet criticizing the government’s stimulus package.
American Senator Bernie Sanders even slammed him in his tweet, saying Musk is a “hypocrite”.
He also revealed in his tweet that Musk received “billions in corporate welfare” from the people’s tax.
