On Wednesday evening, the Lip Sync Battle host, Chrissy Teigen, shared on social media the sad news of having a miscarriage.
The news came as a shock to everyone as Teigen and her husband, singer-songwriter, John Legend lost their baby, Jack.
“Driving home from the hospital with no baby,” Teigen wrote on Twitter.
“How can this be real?” she asked.
Legend also wrote on his social media account, “we love you, Jack.”
A few days ago, Teigen was still sharing her hospital mishap and assured everyone that the baby is healthy.
In fact, she said that the baby is growing much stronger than her two older kids.
Although, she also shared that the reason she was at the hospital was because of heavy bleeding.
She said it is due to her weak placenta.
Teigen and Legend were married in 2013, and now have two children, Luna and Miles.
The Baby’s Name is Jack
Teigen wrote a heartfelt letter and posted it on Twitter.
Along with the letter is a picture of her during the moment after she lost her baby.
According to Teigen, she and Legend do not usually “decide” on their children’s’ names until after they’re born, and before leaving the hospital.
However, “for some reason,” they have been calling the child inside her belly, “Jack.”
Teigen shared in the letter that they are “shocked” and in “deep pain” that is difficult to explain.
She said that the huge amounts of blood transfusion were not enough to save her baby.
A few days ago, Teigen reported she was suffering from heavy bleeding.
The TV host also thanked people who have been sending her family prayers and positive energies.
Despite the sad news, the TV personality is still hopeful and grateful for life.
For her family, the time now is for grieving and crying, she said.
However, they will “hug and love each other harder” and overcome the dark days.
