Around 3,000 protesters marched across San Diego County on Saturday to support the Black Lives Matter cause, according to a CBS8 report.
People have been holding consecutive protests over the past few days, calling out for justice on the death of George Floyd and standing up against police brutality.
It was a peaceful march, which is different from the protests that happened last weekend. Some residents from the County told CBS8 that, “it’s good to see peaceful change in our city rather than destruction”.
San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer told the protestors, to make their voices heard, but in a peaceful way.
